Westpac - Surfers Paradise
The brief was simple...'make a statement...make it Times Square', and with that V Arc embarked on turning this currently underwhelming site into a landmark of Surfers Paradise. The design seeks to pursue the practical responses required of a corner site - access and pedestrian navigation at the same time it pushes the boundary to become a prominent landmark and a go to destination. The high tech design also includes interactive touch screen displays on the building facade, scrolling news screens & the upgrading of the existing clock tower bringing it into the 21st century making sure the site can’t be missed
