The brief was to convert a tired Victorian terrace with heritage overlay into a modern three bedroom inner city house. The design retains the first two bedrooms at the front of the house with a new ground floor footprint and second storey addition.
To maximise the limited floor area, the first floor walls follow the contours of the planning control setbacks, creating a cranked wall which highlights the black 'dormer style' windows
