Lord Abinger Apartments, Richmond
Referred to as the Lord Abinger Apartments named after the intersecting streets that bound the east and south, the project brief was to design an apartment building that maximises the potential of the site, providing good amenity and well proportioned living arrangements.
Comprising of 84 apartments including a mix of home office style units as well as two storey sky homes, gym, lap pool and sauna, the development caters for a wide style of accommodation.
The lower portion of the building consists of a series of punched holes in a solid facade, the upper is a series of protruding balconies in a predominantly glass or transparent facade that turns at its corners, the transparency allows the upper levels appear to float over the solid base.
