Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School, Brunswick East
As part of eight BER funded Catholic primary school projects that V Arc have worked on, V Arc continue their ongoing relationship with Our Lady Help of Christians in Brunswick East. Early projects saw the office establish a Masterplan for the site and now, with Government funding, the first stage can be implemented.
This stage proposes a contemporary addition to the growing school population with a new much needed Multi-Purpose Hall, accommodating flexible space for school meetings or indoor sports. Upstairs 3 new classrooms and a common adaptable work area are housed behind a playfully striped angled facade. Currently under construction, the new extension brings new life into an area of the school that was underutilised and mostly out of bounds for students.
