Brisbane Law Courts Complex - Option Study 2000

The Department of Justice and Attorney General (JAG) identified a need to increase the capacity of the existing Queensland Supreme and District Courts in Brisbane.

JAG identified the need for 46 operational courts in the year 2025.

The study identified five development options, for which in turn preliminary schematic concepts were prepared, costed and evaluated.  The preferred option, part demolition / part new construction, involved further resolved schematics and financial models.

End project value $165 million.
