Refurbishment of 223 William Street (Old County Court)
The vacant Old County Court at 223 William St required upgrading to meet Government policy on minimal building environmental standards. The project entails the replacement of the existing façade and the entire building systems and services to meet the new requirements in building
energy efficiency.
V Arc is the principle consultant, leading the design of the building and integrated fit-out refurbishment, which also sees the existing courtrooms being renewed to new standards.
Once completed in mid 2010, the project will complete the court precinct at the William and Lonsdale St corner and make a positive reinforcement on the State Government's initiative on environmentally sustainable buildings.
