Official launch of the Wyndham Hervey Bay Resort

Tuesday the 28th saw the official launch of the luxury Wyndham Hervey Bay Resort. Charles Richards of development firm '637 The Esplanade' hosted the event for local dignitaries and business representatives. Special guest speakers on the day included Michael Matusik (Matusik Property Insights), John Daley (CEO of the Grattan Institute) and Hervey Bay Mayor Mick Kruger. Stage one construction is scheduled to commence in August 2011 and is expected to be completed by April 2013.
Situated in the heart of Fraser Coast, the $120m development built at 635-637 the Esplanade, Urangan, will attract tourists and investors to the stunning Queensland region. Strategically located opposite the iconic Urangan Boat Harbour and a stones throw from world renowned Fraser Island, the resort comprises of 162 luxury apartments including one and two-bedroom apartments and split-level penthouses, full conference facilities for 300 guests and a lavish lagoon pool.
With the resort incorporating a range of unique features including an atrium-style lobby with six-metre-high ceilings and grande-porte-cochere, the Wyndham Hervey Bay Resort will be sure to bolster Hervey Bay’s growing tourism industry and attract further investment into the region.
Working closely with Wyndham Vacation Resorts, V Arc’s design reinforces the luxury nature of the apartment complex and its surrounds. Resort Interiors has been appointed as fit-out partners and Hutchison Builders will deliver construction.
